Local attractions in Iguazu

Hotel St. George is located in the heart of downtown Puerto Iguazú less than three kilometers from the Iguazú Casino, the Three Frontiers Milestone, and Tancredo Neves International Bridge. Our hotel is also only 17 kilometers from Iguazú National Park. Iguazú Falls was chosen as one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World in 2014 and offers an array of local attractions, activities, and things to do.

At Hotel St. George, we want to make your stay in Iguazú one to remember. Just ask us for recommendations on fun local attractions, things to do, and places to explore, and we'll be happy to share our favorites with you.

Parque Nacional Iguazú

Located in Argentina, this park is home to the stunning Iguazú Falls and a beautiful rainforest with over 2,000 species of plants and wildlife, including the majestic jaguar.

Triple Frontiers Milestone

Formed by the convergence of the Panama River and the Iguazú River, this landmark signifies the border of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.

Tancredo Neves International Bridge

Better known as the “Fraternity Bridge,” this 489-meter bridge connects the Brazilian city of Foz do Iguaçu with the Argentine town of Puerto Iguazú.

Guira Oga

One of the most family-friendly attractions in Iguazú, this 20-hectare jungle wildlife refuge features guided tours and views of monkeys, toucans, ocelots and other injured animals who are being rehabilitated at this facility.

Aripuca

The word "Aripuca" derives from the name of a trap made by the native Guarani and used to catch animals without harming them. This agricultural-ecological-tourist project is a giant aripuca to illustrate the richness of the missionary forest.
